Your right annie57, thats why I love to shoot insect macros, it's like exploring a new world.
I really appreciate your comments.
Often I see what looks like a tiny grey bug to the eye turns out to be very colorful like this one...

Nice sharp shot!

I have seen your gallery and they are EXCELLENT! You are a very good macro shooter.

So some comments abt the Damsel pic. The features captured are pin sharp and is extremely well taken. Do look out for the background though, as its kind of cluttered and may distract the viewer. Just some 2c views.

Hello Bob,

I just found your post and also went to your gallery and viewed the whole thing. I am just blown away at your awsome photos. Beautiful shots! I forgot for a moment that these were the little bugs we see each day. It was truely like stepping into another world. Thank you so much for bringing that world in for us to have the opportunity to explore. Amazing!!!!

I too have an FZ30 and now, after seeing your pictures, I am inspired beyond expectations at what I might be capable of doingwith it someday with a looooooot of practice and a similar setup to yours. Thank you for sharing your setup on your gallery.

Thank you again for posting your amazing world.

Teree

P.S. I just took one more look at your pics here and noticed the damsel fly shadow in the leaf. COOOOL!
