Thanks John, Can you say LUCK ! Actually I took a lot of shots that didn't turn out that well but as I said got lucky on some of them, I had never tried catching them in flight before! Jim

You've got to be kidding me Jim(!) capture adragonfly in flight?? 30 feet away?? WOW!!! thats something I haven't seen before! Excellent series by the way!

Jim,, I was looking the pictures of the football game (FZ50), the sharpness is NOT there!!!

Thanks Emmanuel ! I got tired of waiting for the Dragonfies to land sooooo the next best thing was to shoot them in the air! Lot of luck involved! :-) Jim

I bet he's using paid actors for this, probably stunt dragonflies :-). Totally freezing a dragonfly in flight at max zoom is an amazing feat.
