I've been trying settings suggested by several on this forum. It's not perfect but with your help, I finally came up with a combination I can live with. Hope you enjoy and as always, comments and critiques are wanted and welcome.

I was being very careful not to burn the whites out when this bird flashed it's red throat so much that the red burnt way before the white would have. I still like the picture though.

My wife ask me if I was putting vodka in the Hummingbird drink mix on this one.

Alright, it's not really a sunset, but at sunset. I was standing atmy front door looking at the storm clouds when this hole opened up right before my eyes to show the beautiful color on the clouds behind it.

Very nice captures, Don. I like #2 as he seems to be looking at you, and saying ok, go head. I'm presenting my best side.

Thanks foryour comments Jerry, Donna and Roger. It won't be long before the Hummers will leave for warmer parts. Trying to make hay while the suns shining.
