Looks "other worldly". Very nice! The first one is my favorite. Donna

Thanks for the comments.

The fx01 is a bit of an anomaly. There are not that many ir sensitive digicams tobegin with due to strong internal ir blockers.A fewof the earliergeneration digicams have relatively weak ir blockers, butmany of them require longer shutter speeds. The fx01 is on the low end of acceptable ir sensitivity, IMO, but it does get the job done at close to handheld shutter speeds thanks to the excellent Panasonic OIS. Being an ultra-compact p&s makes iteven moreunique. It may be thatits precursors (fx7/8/9) and the newer fx07 and fx50 are equally ir sensitive butI have yet to see any demonstrations of that.

At any rate, ir photography is alot of fun and can be quite addictive. The little fx01 with a hoya r72 ir filter mounted to a simplehomemade pvc fitting held over the lens can give you a very pleasant feel for just how enjoyable it is.
