Nice photos, Donna.

I have never gotten even one good butterfly photo. Maybe I need to plant some flowers and wait.

The top picture looks like a Viceroy butterfly. I would have guessed Monarch, too, but the giveaway is the black line that cuts through the bottom wings.

I learned this from my 7 year old nephew. :idea:

I thought these were okay, but its hard to be satisfied with your own photos when there are so many great pictures posted here.Then again, it provides incentive. Donna

I agree. Sometimes I can never be satisfied with my photos compared to others I see, but I admire yours.

The butterflies around here don't land on anything! I gave up on them a long time ago.
