Hi Beth,

Without looking, I would say I used aperture mode, probably wide open, spot metering and I usually use cloudy mode regardless, because I like "WARM" pictures and just a bit of standand contrast etc...in adobe. I had to hide out on the deck behind a sheet for a few day to get the hummers. Donna

Hi!

The Hummingbird looks like a flying piece of jewelery...
Beautiful pic!

Wish I could get one of those...
Well, wrong continent for that.

They do migrate to South America, do they?
I wanted to visit an friends uncle that came there by ship...they had to sink it at the rio de la plata. So you can guess what ship it was ;-) Still he did survive, but my friend wants to visit him while the uncle is still alive, and I might be inclined to tag along. When it`s winter over here in europe, Argentina might be a good idea...

To Bayourebel: Well, maybe taking a pic of a squirrel might be fun. But I would surmise from my latest experience that shooting squirrels might be something one should only attempt when sorrounded by heavy armor and maybe a little flak. The example at hand seems extremly capable of holding its own ;-)

Cheers,
RealMash
