I Found this spider on a trip to the south of France, when I first saw the spider I thought it was being attacked by ants, On closer inspection I realized that they were baby spiders on her back. I have never seen anything like this, Does anybody know what sort of spider this is?

Wow, it looks very much like some kind of Wolf spider. I have photographed several Wolf spiders but never have seen one carrying babies on its back. Very interesting and great shots you have here.
