Beautiful roses. Great lighting effects on 1 and 2.

The red rose that appears to glow from the inside outward
is really fantastic!

What is the light source for this?
It is an effect I have tried to achieve many times,
never with such gorgeous results.

Very nice! I like the first one best, the dark background and the lovely yellow rose...Donna

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the nice comments. Roses are one of my favorite things to photograph. It helps that my wife has about 40 rose trees/bushes in our yard.

Tinosa, the sun was behind me which provided the lighting on the Double Delight Rose.

Beautiful pictures tcook. The second picture is my favorite.

The name of the second rose is "Double Delight" and it has an exquisite fragrance and appearance (cream/yellow inside and red outside). An all time favorite of rose gardeners.
