Heres some little beasts I took the other day in the rain of all times to take photos, so it was very dark compatred to normal weather. The backgrounds seemed to have turned out nice in that kind of weather, black is quite nice for showing up the insects when they are flashed onto, some are a tiny bit harshe with the flash, but I can live with it I guess.

Thanks

Hey snails are not the easiest thing to take pics of I must say, this little guy was very very small and seemed to turn out much better than the larger ones, I placed him on the leaf and made him go towards the end and hey it worked ussually they look pretty still and wont come out of their shells I find, this is the 1st time i have got an OK picture of one.

Romero

What can I say - you've got the macro shots just nailed down to a tee - the detail and DOF is just superb.

Cheers

All very nice captures but the pose of the snail in the first one is great.

Hey that snail picture I was glad I got, as I took about 18 pics and all of them sadly were badly framed as the camera moved a little when I took them and it cliped off parts of its head and shell, that one was luckily the only one totally in frame hey as long as I get one I am happy.
