Click on one of the images below to see the whole gallery "Sentiero degli Dei" (Pathway of the Gods) above Positano (South Italy). Good old FZ20.

My favorites:

The coast lines flooded in golden water.
We are also suffering from "flat country disease" up here, like William!

Thanks a lot

Willow1 that's one of the best compliments I have ever received for my photos.
Those mountains in Amalfi Coast (Napoli - Salerno, Italy) are full of incredible places.
I have fallen in love with those places since the first time I went there with my first digital camera, a 3Mp Canon A300, some years ago.
Before I started (semi-)serious photography I did not observe things this way.
I think Photography helps you observing the world and its places and creatures more...

If I was in Florida I'd be everyday in the Everglades searching for snakes to catch and dragonflies and other insects to photograph.
There are great places there too, although peakless.

NOTE: I obtained the #1 pic here by desaturating it with Photoshop "Hue & Saturation" and checking the box "Monochrome" (?) and moving the first sliding bar (Hue) to about 1/3 on the right, in the blue, and the second one (Saturation) around 15.
The original full colors photo is just beside that in the linked gallery

Yes, Molto BellissimoFrancesco

The first one is especially fine - the dynamic and tonal range excellent. The monochrome works fine, but I actually prefer the full colour version of the scene.

The 'golden' coastline scenes also have a nice look to them (we only had a day in Napoli, and only a couple of hours in Sorrento on our most recent trip to Italy, so I did not get much time for photography... oh well, maybe next time...)

Beautiful photographs, I always want to visit the places you show. I would be a little nervous setting on the edge of that rock.
