I dedicate these to Bentley's mom (Hariet?). There has been no info about her for quite some time. Hope she is recovering and will join us in the forum soon.

This tiny butterfly gave me quite an exercise. It kept on hopping and made me kneel on the ground many times to get close enough to shoot.

Number # 2 is my favorite! Love the translucent look of the wings. Donna

Both nice, #2 is my fave. Gorgeous! Now we know why they are called "butter"flys...the slip away easily. I have yet to get a good capture and now I will have to wait till next year.

Nice work (literally)

Thanks Annie. She (Bentley's mom) is a very nice and affectionate lady from Australia who used not only to post lovely pictures, but also offer very encouraging comments to any good photo, even mine. Butterflies are her favourite. Sheis affected witha form of cancer. After a brief absence for treatment, sheappeared in this forum for ashort while only to disappear again. I hope and pray she is recovering. She certainly needs the well wishes of all her friends andmembers of this forum.

From my exif info, I find that that pic was taken at 1/125s, f4, 80 ISO.

Thanks to all others for viewing and the nice comments/feedback. Here is one more photo of the same butterfly, on a different leaf.
