Been a long while since I last shot....that was 2nd Oct, 12 DAYS!!!

Anyway, been busy, and only had shooting time from 1830-1900hrs near my parent's place. Only managed afew insects. Appreciate any C&C....

Work flow abit different. I downloaded the pics at my parent's PC, and instinctively deleted my originals after downloading! Forgot it was not my PC. Edited in Picasa2 and neatimage, and had to redo them with PS when back home.

#5 is great for me.
In the JS (as in all the shots) I like to see only one flash light reflected in the eyes, although it sometimes happens that 2 glows are in each eye (flahs and sun or 2 flash). But in your case youmanagedto geta more uniform background, which would have been half dark without the second flash.... sorry for the lost originals, luckily for you they were only few of them.

I have the DCR-250 now, and maybe I can use it tomorrow in the woods...

Thanks fellas for your kind comments!

The caterpillar was rather large....and really give me the creeps with all those spiky things...

Narmer, you are right abt the 2 flash in the eyes....I forgot to clone out one of them. Its more natural to have one catchlight than two.

Very nice pics, Tan. The hopper looks like an armoured vehicle!

Supernice shots tchuanye! You make it look so easy. And you got all those in a 1/2 hour shoot.

I have the 250 but I tend to shake a lot and it would have taked me that long to getone so-so shot.
