Hello...yesterday the sun came out for a few moments and then quickly hid away. We are not getting much light these days in my area. I was just messing around and I can't say I had a magic moment like when I was at the lake but at least got out took a few shots. I was having major withdrawal symptoms...you know... major depression and psychotic episodes... :G

I can't say which I like best because I would name almost all of them. Really neat find on that third one. Well done on all.

Beth, very nice messing around, I would say. Lovely all of them, but I especially like #1, 5, & 6. Seems like a nice day after all.

Thanks Annie. ) I am trying out the Nikon 6T and for the squirrel I used the Olympus 1.7 telephoto lens. I was at max 12x for this squirrel in a tree next to our place. And of course, the wonderful Leica lens that comes with the Panny. ) )

Just lovely Beth Ellen, I don't know anything about close up equipment, but seeing your pictures makes me want to learn. Donna

Gosh, thanks Donna...I have been inspired by several on this forum and am glad to pass it along. ) If you ever have any questions or just want to shoot the breeze on macro shooting, don't hesitate to send me a message. :|

I really, really like that first shot! Isn't it nice when the critters cooperate. :-)

When I first glanced at the third one, I thought something was looking back at me. It really does look like some weird deep-sea fish eye or something like that.

I know what you mean about the withdrawl symptoms. I haven't had much to shoot around here and when I have found good subjects, the results just haven't been very satisfying. Every now and then, I'll have a good day when it all just "clicks" (pun intended). Funny (and frustrating) how it works like that.

I enjoy your posts. You're really doing great work with your macros.
