I was born 66 years ago and raised in the New York City area. In my life so far I have spent time or had short and multi-year stays in many cities on our planet but there is nothing like NY. I point my lens with abandon and sometimes capture things that most people miss or not care to notice.

Many people have asked what do these people say when I am taking their pictures truth is they are totally unaware.

Also please notice the picture quality,F settings, shutterspeeds and ISO.

Very, very interesting and diverse slideshow. The streetfair scene reminded me of why I like the country and canefields.:G

Interesting and sometimes sad shots. No offense, but it has the opposite effect on me, makes me so thankful for the place I live. Just the differences in people, I long for solitude and hate crowds but do enjoy small bits of "people watching" as you have shown us.

Nice series, including your smugsmug galerie. Only a shame nobody seems to be able to smile. Gives me a depression but that's the people and not the photographer :-) - Ronny

Great continuation of your series Lovelife and also noted that no one is smiling. Can't blame the chap in #2, with those magazines he must be delving into his memory banks

Thank you for viewing and commenting. Yes the small NY street fare can be quite daunting.
