another great shot, only the dark background doesn't show the width of this bird. It seems huge - Ronny

Unfortunately from where I was standing about 20 feet in front of him, the dark background was all I had to work with....Not good enough at post processing to fix it!

very good first post. the owl is outstanding, especially the eyes!

i'm curious about the eagle, though... all thebald eagles i've ever seen have pale yellow eyes and yellow beaks,and i have yet to see one with the white "bib" down the front. is that a sub-species common in Texas?

I'll do some research on the eagle. I really have no idea if he is native to the area. I'll let you know what I find out.
