Hi all,

The moon @1/100s F/4.0 iso100 using the fz50; it makes me want to go there..
A touch at the WB, and a touch of additional sharpening in PS

Looks like I took an almost exact same picture, but with my FZ30 its fun taking moon pics.

Seems we already got 3 October 31 moonshots; Who else nailed it ?

@ Tommcarty, i used my tilting roofwindow to keep the camera stable; It was rather stormy outside with lot's of clouds so didn't took the time for the tripod

here are some moon shots i took with my FZ20 and TCON-14B converter... the first was shot from a monopod, the second from a tripod, and the last handheld. i purposelyframed the last one to include the trees - makes a neat frame of reference.

i've found the best settings for moon shots with the FZ20 (and probably the rest of the FZ's as well) is f5.6-f8 @ 1/160-1/250. set it in manual mode and experiment! the full moon requires afaster shutter to avoid blowing out; a half moon can be shot at 1/80-1/125 depending on f-stop.
