Don't forget its "Lazy Turkey Day"

I was using my binoculars to try and find a Bald Eagle down by the river and I couldn't find one but I did find this turkey and a few of her friends. I decided it was time for a stalk. All her friends had worked there way closer to the river and out of my site but she was celebrating "Lazy Turkey Day" and had no intention of getting up.

WOW Roger! It's hard to get close to turkeys. You must be a good stalker. Great shot.

Great shot - always have problems with larger birds with black feathers, never can get the lighting correct - but you did. - Ronny

Hi Jerry, I win the DOUBLE DUMB AWARD for this hunt. I forgot thanksgiving is just around the corner. Insted of turkey I guess I deserve a bologna sandwich instead of turkey.
