some neat photos in your collection!!! even though I have had my camera for about 6 months now, I feel like I am still getting to know it and all of its capabilities. I have taken several thousand photos at this point and am amazed what it can do and what it can do that I have not learnt yet!! All of the other posters here leave me is awe with their photos so I am know it is just a very big learning curve that I have just started out on!!!
first of all, thanks for taking time posting your comments!

one of the reason why i chose this camera over the s3 is or dsc-h5 is it's wonderful manual zoom ring!

just a little imagination, practice, patience, memory space and battery and you'll get nice effects sans post processing!

don't hesitate to take shots after shots. these pics that i've posted were selected out of the dozens i took!

thanks once again! 'til my next post!

Except for the slight blur as already pointed out, I don't think there is any bad picture here - in fact, all night shots look very realistic and give a goodfeel of the outer atmosphere. I am sure FZ30 is worth its money, even with its noise.

Cool!

That first one, Dawn Moon is my favorite. I'd crop a little off the bottom, but other than that it is superb.

The shot of the paper money is very interesting composition & lighting..
