Thank you all for the kind words. Ride 16- I was about 6-7 feet away from the bird and used full zoom. Iso 80 at F4. With the chickadee I do whatever I have to in order to get the highest shutter speed. I am finding, which I imagine everyone else knows, that the closer you can get to the subject sure adds to the sharpness clarity etc. Once you do the crop there are enough pixels left for a sharp image.

outstanding! :G

excellent clarity, detail and sharpness - to say nothing of catching these twitchy little fellows during one of their exceedingly brief moments of holding still!

These are great shots!! You're right about getting close in. That's the key. Are you using a feeder to entice them in?...cheers......Don

Very nice!

I have yet to capture the Chickadees without any blur.

Btw.... there's a hot pixel just in front of the Chickadee's eye.

The chickadee was the most difficult to get blur free. Looking on the LCD they looked great but not when zoomed in. I took many tries to get one blur free. The red dot, pixel? has been on this cam since almost new. I am not a perfectionist, hence it really does not bother me.
