This seems to be a good lens - congratulation!
Im am using lenses from a russian binocular. Excellent quality!!

52x0,75 is the complete description of the thread (diameter and space between the "steps" of the thread)

AL 4 could mean something like: achromatic lens, +4 diopters

Your first examples in the other thread look very good.
A new macro star is born?

Thanks Sven. I think it def. is around 4+ and so your guess is probably right. A macro star? Heh...well, I will keep learning and we'll see where it goes. )

I thought the risk worth taking with this purchase even though the shipping pushed it up to $21. It was in the Ukraine.

For $9.00 you couldn't go wrong either way but those shots look way better than anything I've been able to do with expensive lenses...........Don
