As I said, after three weeks without a camera my new V-LUX 1 came in late yesterday and I ain't turning it lose.

Here are some of the first untouched, except for resizing shots I took this morning. Some are underexposed because I was going by the LCD. I knew better but just had one of those senior moments. I've posted a link to Zoto where you can find all I took this morning. If you click on origional size in the upper right corner of each photo you can download the origionals and play with them in PSP if you want.

I started to do a bunch of test shots for everybody but decided to just have some fun. Someone else can get into a pi**ing contest over which camera is best or if they are different if they want to. Both cameras are great and we all had rather just enjoy ourselves here.

Hope you enjoy these first shots...............Don

The cameras first real shot, a sunrise. I wasn't excited was I?

Just to catch the early morning sun

Not awake yet

Some shots at the store on the way home.

Thanks Jim. I think when the reviews come out, it will show that Leica really did do something different & worthwhile with the NR settings but I'm sure not going to worry about it and hope no one else does here..........Don

Glad to see you are "back in the saddle again", camera wise that is.:-) I completely agree with you, all that matters is if you like and enjoy using your camera and it looks like you are going to do so. So get out there and keep shooting.

No wonder you are excited Don. The fruit looks scumptious....must admit I have never seen individually labeled tomatoes before!
