For FZ10s and FZ20s: I recently attended this New Orleans / Rock a Billy band and decided to shoot manual because the camera was showing 400 ISO at F2.8 and 1/25[suP]th[/suP] to 1/50[suP]th[/suP] second. I decided that was too slow and wanted to get a more dramatic effect and stop some of the action. So I shot manual at ISO 200 and ISO 400 at f2.8 1/60[suP]th[/suP] of a second. This was your basic school auditorium stage lighting.

Awesome photos. Love the effect of the lighting against the background. Was the band in your area, or were you in my area? You should have called. I have a bucking Paso on hand for you to ride.:G

Hi Jerry

Some wonderful shots - very little noise in the shots at all and still showing lots of good detail.

Cheers

I'm amazed, everytime you post your pictures Jerry. You do have a way with your FZ10. I don't know what your secrete is but the quality of the photos you postis far superior to anything else I can remember seeing. It shows how good the FZ's are if you know what you are doing...................................Don

Thank you for looking and commenting. Shooting under exposed images requires PP work but I was amazed at the amount of detail and lack of noise using this approach.

Nice shooting LoveLife. You know what you're doing with that thing. Also, these photos are a testament to the fact that adding more megapixels to a camera is the worst thing you can do. These would never have worked so well on my FZ30.
