Spotting for elk = Goooose stretch

I stopped to get a few photos of a bunch of geese at a ranch pond. I like to smile and the first photo made me smile. He or she was walking towards the water and for no reason that I could figure out stopped and stretched his wings then continued on to the water.

Roger, I think Annie has nailed it, but what surprises me most is how you seem to always be in the right place at the right time, WITH A CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening Jerry, When I leave my place my camera goes with me evenif it only a trip to the gas station and back. As far as being at the right place at the right time I try to spend most of my time outdoors where the wildlife are.

Thanks for looking and commenting.

Nice Roger. You probably see more than most people do because you are always out spotting for hunters or on the hunt for photos for yourself. What's the old saying? "The harder we work the luckier we get" .........................Don
