Haven't been to the Philippines before even though it's just less than 3 hours flight time from my place. Singapore.

Yes had heard of Borocay. Just to enquire - it's safe to travel on your own over there ?

Less the organised tour.

Thinking of taking a budget flight to Cebu and then to Boracay. Can enlighten me how to go about it and the best time to travel.

Yes its safe . I dont think they have sufferd or had tsumami over there at all ,,I was there and there was guys and girls fron EuropeAusie ,Usa, Japan ect everyone agreed it was THE paradise place ,Cebu is ok but like thailand has a bit too many tourists for comfortimo .Borocay is THE paradise , Onlynearer Indonisia inmindanao island many many miles away is there any badmen if thats what you mean ?, ie muslimarea ?,but you can find that in Thailand in the very south near malaysia border also and its rare now regarded as safe . Taking my R1 and FZ 20 and F 30 for a stay in Boracay and some Great nightlife in Manila and AnglesCity these3 will cover all my photo opps i hope , Rgrds rodo,

Ok. Which airport should I go to to get connecting flight to Borocay, or nearest airport to the later. Or preferably land transport will and how long will it take ?

If you fly into Manilla international go to the domestic airport 5 mins away there are loads of flights to Boracay about £60 return , Its a one hour flight only, to find Paradise, Also superb nightlife many hotels food places all just behind the palm lined 3 mile beach you will love it.
