As always at this time of the year, Princes Street Gardens gets taken over by fairground rides, an ice rink and a German craft village.










And I have to include one of the castle...

Actually the first two were taken on AE mode as when I tried night scenery the long exposure turned the ice rink into a white blob without any skaters.

Night scenery mode did work better for the castle shot though and also this one of the Bank Of Scotland HQ.

Ummm ... no, when I'm in Edinburgh I prefer to stay in Holyrood Palace. It's a lot less draughty!
