Unless you are watching the SciFi Channel mini-series this will be meaningless to you;

HA! I thought the place that 'the bus ticket' object sent people looked familiar:

Here is a screencap from the show:

And here is a photo of the same place I shot in Oct of 2003:

It is actually just outside of Estancia, NM instead of Gallup, NM like they say in the show.... They missed it by about 250 miles.

I'm not bragging about the quality of the photo. Wrong time of day for good light and there was a lot of dust in the air.... Just thought it was kind of neat that my photo is nearly identical to the screen cap.

Apparently both shot at about the same time of year. A few more leaves on the trees, slightly greener grass and a bluer but cloudy sky in the screen cap.

Cool, I saw that show premier on Sci Fi last night. Didn't get to watch the whole show. Planning too. I love good sci fi and so does my son who also reads Ray Bradbury. X-Files are a favorite too, the eariler ones...Donna

That is neat, you and their photographer must have the same taste inirrey. (sp. ?)I used to watch SciFi and still love it but my wife doesn't enjoy it so I've almost given it up.

I don't watch the show but that is neat to get a shot just like you see on one of your favorite shows.
