here are a couple froma recent trip to Healesville Sanctuary. This is one of Melbourne's three zoos. This one caters exclusively for native animals.
Pelican coming in for a feed.



The Swan looks angry, must be the bloodshot eyes


The light just did not let me capture the rock wallaby's eyes, when I tried I had blown highlights everywhere.



and finally a lace monitor enjoying some sunshine

You should do more that is what the FZ30 is made for.

I agree with tcook and genece. Having the FZ30 andthe variety of animals you have there it's a natural. Keep up the animal shots.

Thanks. It is not by choice. I just happen to be more of a city person, so I tend to take city shots. But I'll post a few more later tonight.
