those are a couple of great shots, Roger... well done examples! i could come up with a couple, but they probably wouldn't be FZ shots... after all, getting the tough shots is one reason i got the 30D...

A couple of great ones Roger, I like both of them. Let's see, you probably don't consider a sunset a hard picture to get even though my hands were pretty cold.:-):-) I will see if I can come up with something for your post.

Ok Roger here goes,
the first one ranks with me as the best bird shot I made and the one I waited longer for than any other shot,
and the second the hardest macro ever. The dragonfly landed on my right hand, so I had to open my camerabag with my left and take the shot left handed difficult enough but great fun.

Both great shots Ronny, catching that bird with a mouth full of worms , priceless. I don't know how you do it, i can't get within 10' of a dragonfly and you have them land on your hand.

okay... you asked for it...

this first one is something i'd been trying to catch for months, finally managed to get a halfway clear shot. pity about the dead cattail in the background, but some things can't be helped...

this onewasn't difficult to shoot, but getting close enough to these little fellas to get even a half decent crop shot is almost impossible. they seldom let humans get closer than about 50 yards; this one landed on a railing and let me slowly creep to within about half that distance before he flew the coop...

Let's take this one...
A very busy butterfly. I managed to take only 5 shots in continous mode.
....and only one with spread wings, this one:

And this one needed minor modifications to my optical system - fz5 ++

Merry christmas and/or happy holiday!

Sven
