So sad!!! We stopped at Victoria BC on a cruise ship and took a bus tour of town. We learned from the bus driver that on nights when the cruise ships dock the town has free food at a place away from the tourist spots to get the homeless out of sight. I don't know why, it's not like we are not used to seeing it because it is in every city or town.

Oops, posted before the rest of the images were up. Nice captures on those. The last shot has a 1950s feel to it.

Interesting shots, Annie. The first few make one wonder why people sometimes call it "Toronto the good". What a sad sight in one of the wealthiest cities/countries in the world. Liked the B&W effect in the last few pix - gives quite a different sort of old-world mood. I've never been able to figure out what those critters are either! Best wishes for the holiday season.

Hi Annie

Nice shots - really like the last shot - very cool. I think as a B&W it may look even better.

Cheers

great shots Annie, it's still sad that in the rich cities in the world there are so many poor. I really liked your last shot, really looks like you photgraphed an old postcard.
