not as bright as i'd have liked, but enough... took my FZ20 with the TCON-14B on a walk through the park, and managed a few sort of decent shots...

"the sentinel"



some bufflehead ducks... unfortunately, the FZ's limitations in dynamic range are evident here, in the blown highlights. still, i do like the iridescent colors on their little heads...

I agree with Annie, those are some pretty nice photos for a leisurely walk. Have a safe and Happy New Year.

P.S. Like your new avatar....It is still as fantastic today as it was back then...:G How did you size it for the avatar? It is hard to meet the size limit.

All great shots Squirl...but number one is my favorite. I love the dark, kind of stormy background and the lightedpillar the bird is sitting on in the foreground. Nice tension between the two.
