I suppose the FJ would be considered a needed photographic tool if it has a retractable sun roof to allow for a turret setup with your digiscope and gimbal mounted digis...

We'll have to compare some Bigma images but at the rate your technique has progressed in the last year and the equipment you're gearing up with, I'm afraid I'm already lagging out the gate... heck, I just got my first POTD on 12/31/06...

Careful Telecorder my wife might read your post. I will post a correction to yours for you.

"The FJ would be considered a better photographic tool if it has a retractable sun roof"

Good idea on sharing our Bigma photos. I imagine we both can learn from each other. I hope before the end of next week I will be happy with my settings using the Tamron 24 - 135. Then it will be time to start the learning curve with the Bigma.

GOOOOD work on the POD it is a fine photo.

Hi Jerry, remember even old guys get lucky once in a while.

Thank you SIR for the 4 rubber stamps.

I am hoping I will start to get a few keepers after the first couple of weeks.

wow... lotta new goodies there, Roger! looks to me like you're pretty well outfitted now. considering the shots you've gotten with your FZ30, i'm sure you'll do wonderfully with the K10D! i think you'llthe Tamron 24-135 is a great choice as an all-round lens, and i've seen some wonderful shots fromthe "Bigma"... i think between the two, you've got a verysolid combination. and with a new 4WD to get you where you need to go, well, i'd say you're set!

i look forward to seeing some posts with the new gear! :G

Hi squirl033, there is only one problem with being well outfitted.

1. Now there is no excuses other than operator error.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
