hehe, i believe the poster meant "mate" (m + eight) and not the M8 camera model.

anyway, that shot is simple yet remarkable. great capture, you better reserve some space on your wall for this one.

Thanks for the comments. Now that you wrote m+8 I see it. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer some time. I'm so used to people talking about the m8 camera on the Leica forum I didn't even think past that.

Thanks Fred, like I said above, I couldn't believe it when I stumbled across that old junk yard. I knew my shot was there if I could only find it.

Don

Did not restore it. Not far from where I live is "Marine Park" and there was a very big motorcycle rally that was going to have a run to ground zero in NYC (there are some bikes in the background). Marine Park is just accross the street from "The Marine Park Saltmarsh Nature Center".

Two places that me and my cameras visit often.

Bill, To bad, I was hoping that beautiful car was your'es.

Harj, Thanks for commenting. I was really proud to even place in the challenge. Now I've got the bug and "Motion" is the next theme. I think it's going to take some work, to come up with something different that's good enough to win that one. I guess that's what the challengesare for though, to make us work at being better.

Don

I have to come clean, that car is part of my collection.

Just like Jay Lenno has a collection of motorcycles I have a vast collection of cars !

Jay has custom built garages for his inventory. All of mine are on a cd since my garage is a cyber garage thus I never have to paint it or get car insurance.

I can not tell a lie. That picture was taken prior to my buying my TZ1. Its a Kodak shot.
