For those who have the FZ50 & TCON17. Do you need the CLA-1 conversion lens adapter to join the TCON to the FZ50.. Just got my TCON and the glass looks gosh awful close if I screw them together. Also... If I don't need the CLA-1 would there be any advantage of having it.. ie: Would I gain or loseanything by using the CLA-1?

No adapter needed, it screws right on. Using an adapter would not be a good idea. I You will enjoy the lens.

tcooks right. I have it and it fits perfectly. The closer the rear lens is to the camera lens the better. You will love the Tcon17.
