I finally got a shot of a Hawk. It was hanging around the wildlife reserve looking for a meal. I think it is a Cooper's Hawk, maybe Roger can say for sure.

Ted, you are really producing some terrific bird photos. All so clear and sharp. I have been trying to take some, plenty birds and rain all together at the feeders for the past several days. Not much sunlight. Great job with the hawk.

Thanks all for the nice comments. As you might have guessed I love taking pictures of birds but I just do not get many opportunities at Hawks or Eagles.
Jerry, lack of light is a big problem for me too when trying to shoot birds.

I have no idea what kind of hawk that is but I do know I like the photo.

Nice shot! Ive been trying to get one that nice for a while. This one is always hanging out on my roof just before dark so im never happy with the results. Havent had a chance to try a pic with my FZ50yet.
