Very nice. I am assuming these are handheld? Sorry if I missed that. I am struggling to get good quality with my FZ5 and Tcon17. YOur shots are admirable. )

I am curious about how you decided to have the noise reduction setting turned to low.

Thanks again all for the nice comments.

Beth, the shot was hand held as are most all of my shots. I very seldom use a tripod because most often there is not time to set one up and I am a little lazy and don't want the hassle. Of course I try to keep the shutter speed up as much as I can and if there is anything to brace against I use it.
I took a quick peek at you web site and that was a great shot of the spider.

happy_Peasant, i keep the noise reduction on low to avoid, as much as possible, the in camera noise reduction form kicking in and smearing detail. I feel that, if needed, Neat Image can do a better job then the camera. And, once the camera applies noise reduction you are stuck with what it produces. With Neat Image I can apply noise reduction to an image and if I don't like it I can start over again.
