Hi,

Been away a while. Spent a couple of week is South Gippsland. Its a place we visit often as we own a shack down near the beach. Always love it though. In case you didn't know Gippsland is the SE corner of Australia and South Gippsland is as far as you get south on the mainland.

Here are a couple from our day trip down.

Koonwarra was having a farmers market so we dropped in to stock up.

Of course not everybody could stand the pace in humidity

When we finally made it to the beach house, the teenager immediately leapt into holiday mode

We did though convince her to have a walk before the storm hit.

Only managed to process these (& the following one) thus far. More will follow.

I'll leave you with a panorama from the top of Mt Oberon at Wilson Promontory. To the left is the most southerly tip of mainland Australia, straight down the mountain is Norman Bay, the main camping ground in the national park. Excuse the slight haze, we had bushfire smoke over us for the whole two weeks.

I particularly like the last too as well. I wish I was on holiday somewhere nice and warm (sighs).

Nice series! I like the clouds and rain in #5. It looks like there is a very strong, straight wind blowing the rain, very unsual.

That is a fine group of photos. Never been to that part of the country and we intended to go through Victoria this autumn but with so much of your State burnt out, we will probably head up to NSW/Qld but you have certainly put the area in my memory bank.
