On the news today they said today was the gloomiest day of the year from some British scientist. If thats true here some pis to help italong and make it a little brighter. Was supposed to go Sea World but the wife got a cold:sad:. Maybe next month.

These cranes live on my mothers 70 acres and come and tap on the sliding glass door when there hungry.

This one is nothing special but theres something about it that I really liked.

There is no such thing as gloom as long as you have nothing better to compare it to!

Now that I have seen your pictures you have made me see what a gloomy day this is!

I like the Sandhill crane pictures.

Seems like this winter it is mostly gloomy here in Chicago. These were nice pictures. I would not mind a crane as a back door subject. Instead of the usual sparrows and pigeons maybe.

Thanks for sharing.

I did hear on the news at breakfast time that today was "Blue Monday". There's certainly nothing gloomy about your pics. They're very nice indeed.

It's dry and bright here this afternoon, but very cold and you've got to watch out for black ice underfoot.

Your right. That is a very nice, bright, cheerful series. What kind of cranes are those? They look like the Sandhill Cranes we have here, except for the red head.

Some really great shots, love those colorful flowers. Seeing your shots reminds me of summer, well done.
