Looked out the window between 1st and 2nd qrtr. and this is what I saw. First sign of a sunset in weeks. Course I was in a hurry to grab another cool one before the next play. They say we will see a little more sun tommorrow.

Hope the superbowl was worth it coz I would have stayed and watched the sunset.

With the aperture set at 2.8 you seem to have focused on the foregorund making the tree in the background a bit blurry. In this photo I find that a bit distracting.

Thanks, Rafael. Since Bayoubelle stole the FX01 from me, I haven't experimented with it enough yet to learn to use it. I probably should have used the 3X zoom to help take a better shot. The FX01 does not have Aperture, or Manual settings. It does have a scene mode, that I should have looked at.First timeI tried a night shot with it. Maybe Fmoore will give me a pointer on taking sunsets with the FX01.

This is another shot.

Hey Jerry

We noticed that brilliant sunset through the window at the party I was at. It was hard to miss and you're right that it's been a while since we've had any visible sunsets!

You captured the colors well.

Thanks Annie, appreciate the comments. I was in a hurry at the time, and almost missed seeing it. As you know, suntsets are fleeting and the prettiest part does't last too long.

Thanks Donna, appreciate your comments, also. I had hoped for the Saints to make it, but they had a good year. Anyway, I really didn't have a personal favorite, but am glad that the Colts won, because of the home state family, the Mannings.

Hi! Mick.

I wasn't at a party, but was enjoying the game complete with Pretzels and my favorite drink. Taking photos at the time was not really on my mind, but on the way to the refrig, couldn't help but notice the sunset. I think it was the first sign that there was still a sun out there in a while. Two days, of overcast and clouds and still wading through mud. Finally some sun today.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Jerry
