Thanks!

It was my first submission and I never really imagined it would get picked for POTD. Considering all of the photos I've seen chosen as POTD in the past, I'm quite honored to have one of mine picked. I'm pretty happy about it.

Thanks rafinmelb and HarjTT.

The cat wasn't even supposed to be in the picture. She stepped in at just the right time I guess. I usually end up swatting her away (gently, or course) when she sticks her nose in my line of sight. Sometimes it's the unplanned photos that come out the best.

Hey Mick. That is a fine photo and you should be proud of it. If Roger will loan me back my rubber stamp:GI will stamp yours twice. Congratulations. Congratulations. Is this also a photo you may have posted here. I am not sure I am remembering right. In any case, it is one to be proud of. Also, glad to see you back.

BTW, do you have any Poche relatives here in Plaquemine?

Thanks for the nice comments, Jerry.
Yeah, I think I posted this here a few days before submitting it.

Glad to be back and a little more active here. I just bought myself a Jobe GorillaPod. If you're not familiar with it, it's a crazy, bendable mini-tripod you can put just about anywhere. Should allow for some creative stuff if I can find the time.

No relatives in Plaquemine that I know of, but that doesn't mean there aren't any distant kin folk out your way.
