Nice catch, two for one shot. Trying to catch the birds in flight around the feeder is something I really enjoy doing during the summer. I see you have some pigeons visiting your feeders. during the summer I have a flock of Band Tail pigeons that visit my yard regularly. They are about twice the size of the pigeons I am used to and it is quite entertaining watching them try to eat at the feeders. I'll see if I Con find some of the old pictures and post a couple.

Very nice captures of in-flight action. I didn't know pigeons would eat from a feeder.

Thanks all for the comments. Bayourebel, it's a trip watching them. The perches are way too small for them to hang on. That is how I got the shot I posted in an earlier spread, plus a couple more I have on flickr. This one was going to get dumped until I actually looked at it. (I have a kazzillion pigeon shots as I was testing wing capture speeds that day.) And Donna, as I said, luck. But that works. Here are a couple of not so lucky ones.
