BEFORE Sunrise a Bald Eagle

Pentax K10D with my Bigma.

When I decided to try a photo I had no idea if I would get anything or not. Not much light available.I figured why not try. When I got back to this same area about 15 minutes later he was gone. I think the K10D did a good job considering the light available.

Waiting for sunrise

With a close up

looks pretty good to me, Roger! the Bigma only opens up to 5.6, if memory serves me, so this is a very good result!! i've tried my 80-400 at that time of day, and it's about the same, certainly no better. nice job!

Pretty impressive.

More and more I find myselfleaning towards a Pentax as my first step in to the DSLR world. Images like this just keep pushing me farther.

Cool shot.

RedStickMan, thank you for the kind comment. My Pentax K10D is my first try at a DSLR and so far I am a happy camper.
