They are good considering the conditions. To me pictures like these aren't supposed to be masterpieces they are just supposed to pass on the feelings and the good time you had and they sure did that. Just the sight of that food made me hungry. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a fun time. And inside. Chicago has a fairly large Chinatown section and there is a big parade with dragons and fire crackers and such, but it is such a mob scene we usually avoid it. And the pictures were fine considering the conditions. As tcook said, they captured the mood of the event.

Your stage shots are very good under difficult lighting, and the great colors in the rest of the shots are beautiful.

A bit of trivia:
Current year is Year 4704 by the Chinese calendar.

wow annie.....THE EX....huh...havent been there in a while, but seeing those pix sure bring back some fond memories.
great pix and well set out , kinda brings ya into the event.
