While traveling through the Bayou Goula area, I remembered an old cemetery off the old Augusta plantation road. First picture is the Bayou Goula marker.
All the followingare straight from the camera, except for resizing.

Took me a little while, but I found the entrance to the old cemetey.

So I stepped through and decided to take a few photos. The oldest part first, could not find and markers with dates here.

Some of the later part of the cemetery, the earliest legible date was 1823 and the lastwas 1923.

And this photo was a little further down the old road. It is an old slave quarter house.Two families lived in these back then.Time is taking it's toll on it also. About 20 years ago, someone had tried to make use of it, but it seems to have been abandoned again.
