Neat close-up. Are they friendly or can they be mean? I took some pics of an Emu the other day and I was glad it was behind a fence because it did not act to friendly, but a nest of eggs were close by.

A very nice close up. Was he free in the wild?

Nice sharp shot and good background separation. On my monitor, the actual ostrich face is a little dark. Obviously not the case for others, I will need to check my calibration.

If these are anything like emus you would not want to get any closer. A grumpy emu is a scary thing.

thanks everybody . raf the face is a little dark , so dont calibrate your monitor . it was one of the first pics I ever took with my fz 50 , it was at a childrens touch farm . He was behind a fence so I was about 3 meters away from him when I took it .
