Earlier in the year I had posted a few gull pictures where only one or no legs were showing as they had them tucked up due to the cold. Well, it is less cold now so this gull flying looks more normal and I thought I would post him. The second one is the first time I noticed the throat color matches the eye ring.

If you have access to gulls and bread they are very willing to allow you to experiment on them. I went down to the lake a lot when the camera was new and changed picture adjustment settings each time to see what everyting did. I would like to say I discovered the perfect settings, but instead I discovered I like to experiment so I still change the settings often.

Nice work. On the second one in particular but both are well exposed, it is so easy to blow the white highlights.

I like the positions of the the photos. Looks like the begining of a turf war. :-)

Nice shots.

Speaking of turf wars, this is a throwaway picture. This gull and another kept grabbing at each other in the air but I could never capture the moment. I did catch this shot showing the feathers he lost though.
