Hello all. I put together my macros from 2006 and I am sure I don't have them all. I started taking photos with my FZ5 in July 2006. I am really excited about all I am going to learn in the coming year and hope to improve on my macros.

Here is the link: http://www.eclecticstudiocafe.com/macro2006

I use:

FZ5
Raynox 150/250
Nikon 4T
Canon 250/450
Leica Elpro VIa/VIb
Russian Achromatic

Thanks for taking a gander!

Looks like you`ve learnt a lot already Beth, superb set of pics there. Loved the fly silouette....very original indeed. I`m just getting into insect macro stuff myself so found your insect shots particularly impressive. Just gotta wait til there are a few more subjects around over here, as there isn`t a lot of insect life around at the moment LOL.

I also found my eyes wandering to that silhouette. Maybe because I have never seen one in macro before. I would say you already know what you are doing pretty much.

Thanks to you all for looking. I must say that I also appreciate the feedback you have given over quite a few of these photos in this forum.

As for learning, I still have a ways to go. I need to learn how to use light better. If you look at Sven's photos (as well as Tchuayne's ) you will see a quality there I am struggling to achieve with my setup as it is. My goal this coming year is really hone in on "light".

Thanks all,
Beth Ellen
