While out last week looking for a few subjects to shoot i decided to have a go at photographing a few of the planes approaching our local airport.....first attempts at shooting anything airborne, i`m quite pleased with how they turned out....

I think this one gives a feeling of being up there with the plane........

Mark , those are very nice , its always difficult shooting into a glare , but you seemed to pull it off quite nicely.

These came out well. It seems I can just see a bit of sun reflection on the tip of the nose of each plane. I look forward to trying jets some day.

Nice captures Mark, I think your pics would of being evenbetter if the sun was on this side of the plane.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The sun was at a pretty awkward angle and I didnt have much time to shoot before the glare became too much.....even just to see the planes through the EVF,let alone its effect on the images.
I intend to go back and get some better shots soon, hopefully in better conditions.

Happy_peasant, after seeing your recent bird flight shots i`m sure when the time comes you`ll find aircraft shots a cinch, and i look foward to seeing them.....

Nice shots at a tough angle. Wondering if applying some local contrast in PP would punch them up a bit.
