It's beentoo long since I have posted anything here. I went to the zoo yesturday, it was quite an experience. The zoo is about 3 miles away from Luke Air Force Base. This weekend is the Luke Days airshow, and yesturday was family day at the base. The Air Force Thunderbirds were performing and made several passes over the zoo it was surreal. We were having fun and Iwas able to get a few pictures before this crazy thunderstorm rolled in out of nowhere. I have never seen so much rain and hail fall in such a short amount of time. We were soaked from head to toe and I only got to see half of the zoo but it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Oh well here's a few shots of the animals.

Nice pictures. I especially like the Zebra and the Tortoise.

And yes, I got wet too.

Nice photos.

That tortoise looks like he's got the turbo kicked in... for a tortoise, that is.
I've been meaning to take the ol' FZ-30 out to the zoo. It'll be too hot before long.

Thanks for the comments!

I think that tortise knew something we didn't, he was running for cover and a few minutes later we were soaked!
