I'm trying to experiment with the new camera (FZ50) and who better to experiment with than our cat? I took a couple spring time shots when he was over me.

With these there are some things I know I need to work on but I would like and appreciate your input as well. Thanks for looking!

StacyOw,#3,#6 &#7 are nice shots .But#1 has lot of promises.I think if the reflection of the cat on window pane been more sharper, It could have been a winning image. What you think?

I like #4 the best. Such big, green eyes!

Stacy, all wonderful shots. My favorites are #1, 4 and 8. If it was me I would take #4, blow it up to 12x16 and frame it

Hey thanks everyone for the comments so far. I had posted some vacation shots a week or so ago and received very little input so I am excited to get some this time around!

mcliu - I do think #1 could be better. I wish I had noticed all the nose prints before I took the pic. Also, wish I had picked a better specimen for the 2nd flower shot. Oh well. I'm learning.

They all look good to me. For practice shots they are wonderful. The cat looks like a willing subject. Now put down a little catnip and work on motion shots.

I love the one where he is laying on his side (4) . Flowers are lovely.

I like them all, but no4 is superb....definitely worthy of framing and putting on the wall.

Stacy, I also liked #3 very much, but I thought that the face was too dark and not showing enough of the cat's inqisitiveness....so I hope you don't mind, but I did a little dodge&burn on the picture to bring part of the face out more. Let me know what you think. Being a cat lover, I wanted ti give this pic a chance.

Good work and the cat doesn't look mad.
