FZ20, hand-held with Raynox DCR 2020 Pro — some fringing, but the best moon-shot I've been able to get so far.

Nice shot Idle, it`s encouraged me to keep persevering with my fz20 for a decent moon pic.

This is a fine moon shot. I look forward to trying the moon again some day as none of mine have this much detail if enlarged to that size.

Actually, it's not enlarged at all — just cropped a bit and reduced to postable size in PS.

Given the way my hands shake lately, and that it's almost a 1 metre (35mm equivalent) lens I was surprised at its clarity myself.

Leaning back on a brick wall probably helped.

What I did was to take a shot with every available auto option bar macro and select the best (some were awful...)

Might have done even better with auto bracket — must try it sometime.

I have very little success with manual mode (probably because of the shaky mitts.)

Thanks for viewing.
